Voicing Ethnicity and Identity

What do we pick up on when we listen to speech? Can you identify the ethnicity of a speaker just by their voice? How much is that constrained by your experience with that language? In this project, we are interested in examining the impact of listeners' cultural and linguistic experience in perceiving the second language speech of listerners' first language.
